In order to address the growing issue of dry eyes with our patients, Summit Eye has a dedicated Dry Eye Center. With the only Certified Dry Eye Specialist in the Charlotte region we are at the forefront of dry eye technology. Your evaluation may begin with an analysis of your tear film utilizating a laboratory test called a Tear Film Analyzer.

The doctor will review your results and discuss treatment options with you to determine your individualized plan of care. These may include artificial tears, increased water intake, environmental changes, or supplements. Whether it be to return to contact lens wear or just increase your eye comfort, we will work with you to achieve your goal.
