Healthy vision is important to us at Summit Eye Associates, where we provide eye care throughout your lifetime. This begins with our participation in the InfantSee Program - which provides eye examinations at no cost to infants from 6 to 12 months of age - through healthy vision exams, medical visits such as glaucoma and diabetic care, LASIK Co-management, and post-operative cataract care.

The following are some statistics to consider when determining if anyone important to you is at risk:

  • One in four school-age children has an undiagnosed vision problem that interferes with learning.
  • People age forty and older are at greater risk for glaucoma, cataracts and other potentially sight-stealing diseases.
  • Older drivers with vision impairment are 200% more liekly to be involved in an auto accident.
  • More than 10 million Americans suffer serious vision and health problems as a result of computer usage.
  • More than 90 percent of sports-related eye injuries could have been prevented by wearing protective eyewear.

Regular eye exams result in early detection of vision problems and promote healthy vision for you and those important to you.

  • Children's Vision
Although school vision screenings are valuable in detecting some serious problems, they generally miss 75% of childrens' vision problems.
